Hi, I am Jess. I am a dental hygienist at Old Milton Dental. I have been with the practice now for almost two years, always as a hygienist and it is a fun place to come work, very relaxed atmosphere. They are professional but also relaxed and very personable with each other as coworkers and with our employers as well as our patients. We want our patients to know that we are here for them and we want to make them feel comfortable. We want them to have an enjoyable experience when they come into our practice as well as educate our patients and let them know how important oral health care is. We try to stress this with our patients and make them aware that their oral health is also associated with their physical health. A lot of people disassociate their mouth with the rest of their body and do not take quite as good care of it as they should. So we really stress and educate them on what periodontal health is and what their oral health care is and make sure that they are aware of the importance of coming to see us on a regular basis and also taking care of their mouth at home.
